Contribution Disclosure Notice

Our organization is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business league. Under various federal and state lobbying and campaign finance laws, contributions or payments to 501(c)(6) organizations may, in some cases, be subject to public disclosure requirements once certain thresholds are exceeded. To help protect the privacy of our supporters, we recommend that individual contributions remain at $4,999 or below. Contributions at or above $5,000 may trigger donor disclosure obligations in certain jurisdictions. By keeping contributions below this threshold, supporters can generally avoid having their names and amounts disclosed in public filings.

Please note that contributions to a 501(c)(6) organization are not tax-deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes. Contributions may, however, be deductible as a business expense, subject to applicable IRS rules. You should consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution. Your support helps us advance our mission while respecting your privacy.

Some of these initiatives are non-advocacy in nature and developed in partnership with 501(c)(3) organizations. Where funding may be provided by charitable organizations, it is restricted to non-lobbying purposes and applied solely to programs consistent with those organizations' exempt purposes.

Note: We have applied to the IRS for recognition as a §501(c)(6) tax-exempt business league. While we fully expect approval, that status has not yet been formally confirmed. Once IRS recognition is received, it will be retroactive to our date of application.
